The nose is aromatic and offers concentration, power as well elegance. It reveals notes of boysenberry, violet and slight touches of wild red fruit associated with a discreet hint of blueberry as well as subtle touches of pepper Cube, tobacco and a very discreet hint of nutmeg. The palate is well-balanced, nicely fruity and offers an acid frame, racy minerality (terroir), a nice tension, a bit aerial side, finesse, a nice definition, a small power / concentration as well as a nice definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry and juicy/ripe wild strawberry combined with slight / discreet touches of cassis, an imperceptible touch of plum as well as slight hints of caramelization, vanilla and a very discreet hint of ripe almond. Tannins are fine, well-built and very slightly chewy. Good length. Chew on the finish.
