The nose offers power, elegance, a fine concentration as well as a good structure. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, raspberry and more slightly crunchy black cherry associated with touches of Sichuan pepper, fleshy Boysen berry and hints of spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a beautiful suavity, gourmandize, a small unctuosity, a fine tension, a beautiful juiciness, fullness as well as an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, fleshy blackberry and more slightly wild raspberry associated with small touches of tonka bean, toasted oak/grilled, caramelization as well as very discreet hints of vanilla. Tannins are fine and elegant. Power on the finish/persistence.
