The nose is aromatic and offers a small power, a fine intensity, a fine grain and a very fine tension. It reveals notes of wild cassis, pulpy blackberry, small notes of strawberry associated with small touches of crushed small red fruits as well as hints of hazelnut, spices and discreet hints of pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness, tension as well as a fine unctuosity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, raspberry, small notes of redcurrant associated with small touches of crushed cherry, fresh violet as well as a hint of fresh cornflower, camphor, sweet spices and fresh mild tobacco. Tannins are racy and finely straight. Good persistence.
