The nose is fresh, fruity, mineral as well as nicely textured / marked graphite. It reveals notes of juicy / fresh blackberry, racy minerality and small notes of spices associated with touches of fresh wild raspberry, fine hints of pepper, tobacco as well as a discreet floral, saline or even discreetly sappy hint. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers accuracy, freshness, a nice definition, concentration in accuracy, acidity as well as a nice gravelly energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / fresh raspberry, juicy / fresh cassis and small notes of violet associated with touches of fresh blackberry, a subtle hint of almost small bright berries as well as subtle hints of star anise, cherry blossom and toast. A nice salinity on the finish. A subtle hint of almost sappy on the finish / persistence. The tannins are elegant and tasty.
