The nose is fresh, racy and shows a fine patina, a fine and correct concentration. There are notes of fresh flowers, mulberry leaf and slightly fresh/crisp boysenberry combined with hints of red berries as well as fine hints of rose, pulpy/crisp blackcurrant and a discreet hint of toasted almond. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, delicacy, a certain richness and concentration, precision, tension, volume and some roundness coupled with a fine aerial side, stretched out in the mouth. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/crushed cherry, blackcurrant and more lightly blackberry combined with hints of small crunchy red berries as well as liquorice and a discrete saline edge. Good length. The tannins are well managed.
