On the nose it is fruity, fresh, it offers power, a tight grain and a fine straightness. It reveals the notes of boysenberry, strawberry and more slightly small black fruits associated with grey pepper, lily, cornflower as well as hints of licorice and a discreet touch of saffron. On the palate it is fresh, fruity and offers density, a certain richness, a good definition, roundness and concentration. The wine express the notes of pulpy blackberry, crushed cassis and more lightly fresh/bright cherry combined with bright raspberry, lily, cherry blossom, licorice, nutmeg as well as a discreet touch of saffron and hazelnut. The tannins are well conducted and offer a fine straightness. A fine chew on the finish/persistence.
