(organic) The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose firstly offers a woody (toasted wood, toasted almond, coffee, dark chocolate), sappy and spicy notes (crushed coriander seeds, vanilla, cinnamon in the background, liquorice), which are complemented after aeration by notes of juicy morello cherry, dried red cherry, blackberry, crushed blackcurrant, raspberry, wild strawberry, as well as rose petals, violet and peppermint in the background. The palate expresses a good coffee bitterness, associated with a smoky touch of bergamot, which is complemented in the mid-palate by notes of tangy fruits (red cherry, raspberry, blackcurrant, blueberry, morello cherry, cranberries), a layer of dark chocolate, liquorice, vanilla, cinnamon, as well as toasted almond, coffee and pine sap. Beautiful, mouth-watering, enveloping acidity, with firm, structured, and bitter tannins. The finish is juicy, fruity, and quite persistent, with a bitter touch of bergamot and coffee.
