The nose is fruity, gourmand, elegant, incisive and very discreetly dusty (but quickly disappears). It reveals notes of cassis and blackberry associated with fine notes of caramelized oak, chocolate as well as discreet notes of pepper and licorice. The palate is fruity, mineral, gourmand, sleek, silky, fresh and offers a nice frame, a nice definition as well as a nice acidity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh cassis, blackberry and black cherry associated with fine touches of berries, chocolate, licorice, wood as well as slight notes of flowers. Tannins are fine and a bit dry. Good length. There is a fine note of caramelization on the finish.
