The nose is aromatic, elegant and quite charming. It reveals notes of boysenberry and cassis combined with fine notes of black fruit cream, crushed strawberry, licorice, spice as well as a hint of undergrowth and a very discreet hint of gray pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, relatively depth and offers minerality, freshness, a nice definition as well as a beautiful matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, blackberry, slight notes of plum and fine touches of strawberry associated with discreet notes of chocolate, liquorice as well as fine hints of spices, discreet notes of coffee (in the background) and slight touches of licorice on the finish. Tannins are fine and elegant. A beautifuly harmonious and gourmand wine ! Good length as well as a nice, suave and gourmande persistance.
