The nose is fruity, chiseled and offers a certain intensity, a fine grain and minerality. It reveals notes of fresh strawberry, fresh raspberry and small notes of wild blackberry associated with touches of toasted/grilled oak, cocoa, incense, black tea as well as a discreet hint of saffron, nutmeg and hazelnut. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced, racy and offers an acidulous frame, a beautiful definition, finesse, power, a good guideline, concentration, silkiness and suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, pulpy/juicy cassis and small notes of crunchy raspberry associated with touches of lilac, iris, a racy minerality as well as fine hints of fresh/crunchy cherry, incense, cocoa bog, grilled, an imperceptible hint of vanilla (in the background), a subtle hint of tonka bean and tea.
