Le Clos du Serres, Les Maros – 2021, Terrasses de Larzac

The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose has a medium (+) intensity and expresses aromas of fresh red berries and jam (red cherry, cherry jam, gariguette strawberry, strawberry jam, raspberry coulis). There are also slight notes of black fruits in the chocolat (black plum, chocolate morello cherry), as well as very fine notes of eucalyptus, bouquet garni, and cloves. On the palate, the wine is supple, with a medium (-) body and medium-level tannins with velvety texture. The flavors are warm, on ripe red berries (wild strawberries, raspberries, bigarreau cherries), but also express the freshness of spices and herbs (white pepper, dried thyme, and rosemary) with a mineral touch. Acidity has a medium (+) level and gives the wine energy on the fruity and quite long finish. Beautiful maturity and fruity substance with a lively and fresh acid frame.
