The nose is fruity, fresh, racy and offers a fine grain, a small power as well as elegance. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, ripe/juicy wild cassis, small notes of racy minerality associated with small touches violet, fresh/ripe strawberry as well as subtle hints of liquorice, cardamom, a very discreet hint of crushed blueberry, pepper and spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers salinity, tension, a juicy/acidulous frame as well as a racy minerality, a beautiful precision, a fine creaminess, delicacy, a good freshness, straightness (in finesse/juiciness). On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy/crunchy cassis, small notes of raspberry associated with touches of racy minerality, cardamom, toasted as well as a subtle hint of spices (in the background) and an imperceptible hint of pepper. Good length. Tannins are fine and well-built. Very discreet hints of toasted/vanilla on the persistence. A beautiful grain on the finish.
