The palate is fresh, fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a mineral frame, finesse, tension, energy as well as a small richness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cassis, fleshy/juicy blueberry and small notes of crushed blackberry associated with small touches of fleshy raspberry, black cherry, cornflower/lilac, touches of tonka bean, toasted/grilled bread as well as very discreet hints of chocolate and almond. Tannins are well-built. There is a very discreet hint of cocoa bitterness on the finish.
