The nose is aromatic, quite elegant and quite gourmand. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, plum and black cherry associated with small notes of cassis, a fine hint of strawberry as well as small notes of spices, roasted coffee, a discreet touch of liquorice and a discreet hint of cornflower. The palate is fruity, mineral, fat and offers a mineral frame, a good volume, suavity as well as a relatively silky matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, plum and fine notes of black cherry associated with a hint of cassis, red fruits as well as slight notes of licorice, dark chocolate, woody touches and a discreet/slight hint of caramelization. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length and persistence with fine notes of coffee, black fruit and a discreet hint of bell pepper.
