The nose is fresh, fruity, sincere, precise and reveals a nice finesse to its power, a nice touch. There are notes of boysenberry, violet, and more lightly fleshy/flavoured strawberry and more lightly spicy notes combined with red berries and saline touches, fine nuances of bigarreau cherry, liquorice, madagascar pepper, mocha, fresh blond tobacco, and fine hints of menthol (in the background). The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, nice definition with finesse/tightness, nice tension, harmony, nice juicy/fresh/sparkling fruit, nice tension, acidity/tightness, some infused quality. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/pulpy black cherry, bright red currant and more lightly fresh/acidic red berry notes combined with hints of lily, lilac, salinity, fresh/almost crunchy blueberry as well as fine hints of sense of place, minerality, liquorice, discrete hints of smoke and toasted almond. Fine chewiness and fine powdery quality on the finish/persistence. Good length. The tannins are fine and discreetly tight.
