The palate is well-balanced, very slightly tight, precise and offers a beautiful freshness, a good definition, a beautiful finesse, a very fine unctuosity, a beautiful juiciness, a beautiful freshness, a beautiful grain as well as a good structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis and small touches of black cherry, crunchy/fresh red berries associated with fine touches of toasted oak, cocoa/tonka bean, a very fine touch of fleshy/juicy blueberry (in the background) as well as a subtle hint of cardamom and tea. Tannins are fine and slightly grainy. There is a hint of cocoa on the persistence/aftertaste (give gourmandize).
