Le Blanc de Château Duhart-Milon 2024 – Bordeaux Blanc

(62% Semillon, 35% Sauvignon Blanc, 3% Sauvignon Gris) The nose is precise, elegant and offers a fine intensity. There are notes of quince, ripe/fresh lemon and small notes of crunchy white peach, associated with hints of fresh apricot, as well as hints of verbena, a subtle hint of sage and small crunchy fruits. The palate is well-built, supple, precise, juicy, delicate, gourmand and offers fine creaminess in juiciness, minerality, roundness, mellowness, an enveloping side, a tangy frame and precision. Lovely finesse of fat the lees. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of quince, juicy/pulpy lemon, kumquat and small notes of bright white peach, combined with fine touches of juicy/fresh exotic fruit, a hint of pink grapefruit, as well as fine hints of verbena, sage, salinity and a hint of small crushed white fruits. Good length. Nice sapidity, gourmandise and appetence. A subtle hint of almost buttery/salted butter in the background.
