The nose offers a racy minerality as well as spices. The wine benefits from being decanted. There are notes of crunchy blackberry, fresh crunchy raspberry and more slightly pepper combined with hints of violet, iris, fine liquorice and a touch of dark chocolate and toast. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, a nice racy minerality, gourmandise and crispness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh/juicy blackberry, crisp raspberry and more slightly iris, fresh lily combined with a fine hint of rose, racy/almost saline minerality and a subtle hint of almond, spice and good bitterness. Good length. Nice bitterness on the finish.
