The nose is fruity, quite powerful, fine and offers a small straightness, a fine bewitching side as well as a small intensity. It reveals notes of dry yellow grape, dry lemon zests, dry mandarine, small notes of cedrat, dry flowers associated with small touches of dry brugnon, marmelade, fine hints of nutmeg, sweet spices, a very discreet hint of pâtisserie and an imperceptible hint of verbena (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, full, suave and offers a fine straightness, a fine intensity, a small unctuosity as well as a very fine minerality. On the palate this Cognac expresses notes of candied lemon, peach in syrup, small notes of crushed Zante currant associated with touches of marmalade, crushed kumquat as well as subtle hints of pâtisseries, vanilla, liquorice stick, chocolate, tobacco and a very discreet hint of grilled. Good length and persistence.
