The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is expressive, with meaty and balsamic notes at the start, then it opens on the fruitiness, juicy notes of ripe red fruits (red cherry, red currant, red plum) and black fruits (blackberry, blackcurrant, sour cherry). There is also a touch of liquorice, mint chocolate and rosemary. On the palate, the flavors are open, juicy, with lots of ripe red fruit (red cherry, strawberry, raspberry coulis, blackcurrant), a hint of bitter chocolate, cherry in chocolate, liquorice, white pepper and crème de cassis. On the palate, the wine has tight tannins, a bit rough at the start, but rounder and fruitier in the mid-palate. There are juicy flavors of ripe red and black fruits (red cherry, red plum, blackcurrant, black plum), a fine touch of black pepper and liquorice, as well as a subtle minty and smoky noteson the finish. The acidity is fresh, salivating, it softens the tannic side, which is a little dry on the finish. Good length, a well-structured wine overall.
