The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. On the nose, it expresses smoky, slightly sanguine notes, as well as a rich and concentrated fruity bouquet. It reveals notes of crushed strawberry, cherry jam, raspberry coulis, fresh red plum, black plum, and blackberry. The whole is completed by touches of menthol, bay leaf and liquorice. On the palate, the attack is juicy and fruity, with notes of red cherry, morello cherry, black plum and dried mint. There are also very subtle notes of balsamic and fresh basilica. On the mid-palate, the wine expresses its tannic side and a firm structure. The tannins are powerful, drying and young. The finish is moderately long, on the fruits and the freshness of tangy red cherries. There is also a nice acidity, which gives freshness to the finish.
