The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. On the nose, the wine expresses pronounced aromas of wild strawberries, red cherries, red plums, blackberries, red currants and currant jam. There is also a savory touch, a bit sanguine, a hint of clove, dried thyme, basil, peppermint and dried rose petals. The attack is rich and open, with flavours of candied fruits. It reveals notes of prunes, ripe black plum, sour cherry, crushed strawberry, chocolate, liquorice and wild mint. On the mid-palate, the wine expresses its firm structure and slightly drying tannins. They are grippy, but fine, enveloped by the texture of the wine and a fruity concentration on the palate. On the lingering and aromatic finish, the wine expresses the freshness of tart red cherries and high acidity, with a very subtle bitterness. A well-structured and concentrated wine.
