On the nose it is fruity, elegant, offers power, concentration (in accuracy), a certain richness, a nice width of the aromatic palette, intensity. It reveals the notes of bright wild cassis, blackberry, spices and more slightly wild red currants associated with nutmeg, aromatic herbs, morello cherry, hint of mocha, caramelization, vanilla, black olive, blond tobacco and star anise. On the mouth it is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, a certain density as well as a fine compactness, richness while freshness/juicy, depth, complexity and gourmandize. The wine express the notes of fleshy/full bodied cassis, crushed small black currants and slightly morello cherry combined with hints of crushed blueberry, wild strawberry, cherry blossom, cornflower as well as hints of chocolate, anise, tobacco and caramelization. The tannins are relatively robust and nicely polished. Good length.
