L’Aura de Cambon La Pelouse 2018 – Margaux

The nose is fruity and offers freshness as well as concentration. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, fresh/ripe blackberry and small notes of ripe strawberry associated with fine touches of violet,liquorice as well as very fine hints of nutmeg and a subtle hint of chocolate. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, elegant, aery and offers a mineral frame, tension, suavity, a good definition, power, precision, a good finesse of the grain, a beautiful tension, tension as well as density (but full of finesse and balance). On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/ripe cassis, fleshy/ripe black cherry and small notes of fleshy/ripe raspberry associated with small touches of red fruits as well as fine hints of liquorice, chocolate, vanilla and an imperceptible hint of coffee (in the background). Good length and persistence. A beautiful wine !
