It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, crushed raspberry, cassis associated with small touches of violet, lily, crushed plum as well as fine hints of liquorice stick, grey pepper, a subtle hint of saffron, nutmeg and vanilla. The palate is fresh, fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/finely acidulous frame, gourmandize, a fine tension as well as precision, a fine grain, a beautiful definition/purity of the fruit and a beautiful freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright cassis, bright blackberry, small notes of raspberry associated with touches of plum, small red berries as well as hints of violet, lily, liquorice stick, vanilla and a very discreet hint of mild tobacco (in the background). Tannins are precise and well-built.
