The nose is fruity and offers a very fine richness and a small complexity. It reveals notes of black cherry, small ripe red berries associated with touches of blackberry, fine hints of liquorice, sweet spices, a very discreet hint of flowers, cardamom, fresh laurel berries as well as a very discreet hint of Cuben pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, tension, an acidulous/juicy frame and juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, juicy small black berries associated with small touches of juicy/acidulous raspberries, juicy/acidulous small red berries, a subtle hint of dry local copse (sense of the place) as well as a subtle hint of laurel berries and liquorice. Good length. There is a very discreet chew on the finish. Tannins are fine, structuring and well-built.
