The wine has a bright pale ruby color. The nose offers a beautiful fruity expression (especially red fruits) – fresh, tangy and juicy. It expresses notes of tart red cherry, raspberry, strawberry and crushed blueberry. After aeration, there are fine spicy notes – white pepper, liquorice and ground cumin, floral scents (violet, lily), as well as a subtle touch of heated wood and toasted hazelnut (associated with a delicate touch of cocoa in the background). The palate is gourmand, with a good bitterness of coffee and cocoa on the attack, tight but fine and powdery tannins. It also expresses notes of tangy red and black fruits (red cherry, cranberries, raspberry, tangy strawberry, blueberry), combined with notes of sweet spices (liquorice, cumin, white pepper), a floral touch (lily, violet) and herbaceous (blackcurrant leaves in the background). Lots of freshness and energy on the finish, chiseled, tangy and persistent.
