LA VIOLETTE 2022 – Pomerol

The nose is elegant, delicate, juicy and airy, with great depth. It is both complex and approachable, offering a lovely delicate and luscious feel. We find notes of luscious blackcurrant, bright strawberry, and, small notes, bright blueberry, associated with touches of cornflower, plum blossom, as well as discreet nuances of bass, graphene and light hints. star anise, and chocolate. The palate is nicely structured, supple, fresh, elegant and airy, with a tangy structure. It is delicate, fresh, juicy, supple, silky and pulpy. We find a beautiful precision and accuracy, with notes of juicy/pulpy blackcurrant, tangy purple plum and bright blueberry, combined with touches of crushed raspberry, star anise, tonka bean, and hints of toasted almond/ toasted, as well as nuances of toasted seeds. Good length, with mellow and tasty tannins, and a nice chew. The finish is offers a superb freshness and beautiful chiseled precision. Freshness, fullness and voluptuousness.
