La Sirène de Giscours 2019 – Margaux

The nose is fruity, racy, elegant and offers intensity (in finesse), power (in finesse) as well as concentration (in finesse). It reveals notes of juicy/ripe wild berries, small black berries, small notes of ripe wild strawberry associated with touches of lily, camphor, violet, fine hints of pepper, toasted, nutmeg and an imperceptible hint of sage (in the background). The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, gourmandize, a fine acidulous frame, a good definition, a beautiful freshness of the guideline, a finesse of the grain as well as a tension very discreetly tight/racy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh Boysen berry, small fresh black berries, small notes of juicy / fresh raspberry associated with small touches of violet, lily, fresh gravels, sweet spices as well as very discreet hints of toasted, cardamom, liquorice as well as an imperceptible hint of cuben pepper (in the background) and vanilla. Tannins are well-built.
