La Sergue 2020 – Lalande-de-Pomerol 

The nose is fruity, aromatic, elegant and offers gourmandize, complexity, a certain richness (in juiciness), a fine creaminess (in finesse/freshness), a small, stretched side and a multi-layer side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of creamy/pulpy blackberry, strawberry, small notes of bright raspberry associated with small touches of coffee, small crushed black fruits as well as hints of vanilla, voatsiperifery pepper, bright blueberry as well as fine hints of hazelnut, camphor and toasted hazelnut. The mouth is fruity and offers freshness, creaminess (in justness/control), minerality, a good definition, gourmandize, tension, roundness as well as a good guideline, a small airy character, power (in control) and freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of creamy/pulpy blackberry, cassis, small notes of fresh/bright strawberry associated with touches of small ripe/acidulous red fruits, violet, cornflower, star anis, caramelized hazelnut as well as fine hints of voatsiperifery pepper, camphor and a very discreet hint of toasted. The tannins are precis, soft and elegant.
