La Sémillante de Sigalas 2024 – Bordeaux Blanc

The nose is elegant, precise, racy and offers a certain depth. It reveals notes of fresh quince, fresh yellow peach and small notes of crushed medlar, associated with fine touches of juicy pear, toasted almond, nutmeg, as well as a hint of almost discreet iodized in the background. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral and offers a fresh frame and good definition. It also presents accuracy, acidity, a certain gourmandise, a clean side, precision and a certain elegant roundness in accuracy. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy lemon, bright cedar and small notes of pear, combined with touches of peach blossom, verbena, almond, a hint of toasted/finely sweet spices, as well as discreet pearly/iodized hints. A fine firmness on the finish that adds chewiness. Good persistence, with a subtle tannic hint in the structure and aromatic.
