Beautiful nose, precise, frank, racy and that offer deepness. The wine needs to be decanted. It reveals notes of boysenberry and bright black berries associated with touches of black tea, menthol, hints of small bright blue fruits, crushed redcurrants and a fine almost balsamic hint. The palate is beautifully structured, elegant, airy and offers brilliance, gourmandize as well as a very nice freshness. A discreet hint of elegant austerity. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of creamy blackcurrant, bright/fresh red berries and small notes of fresh cherry associated with touches of crushed blueberry, hints of liquorice stick, chocolate, black olive as well as fine hints of tobacco, menthol/sappy and a subtle almost lavender hint. Tannins are sapid, mellow and offer a nice grain. A subtle hint of terracotta in the background. Purity.
