The nose is fruity, elegant, racy and offers a small concentration, a fine richness and a quite fine grain. It reveals notes of ripe grain, pulpy raspberry and small notes of violet associated with small touches of blackberry, tonka bean, liquorice, tobacco, a racy minerality and discreet hints of vanilla pod. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, well-balanced and offers a beautiful suavity, a small richness, a beautiful grain, a quite dusty grain, minerality and a beautiful silkiness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, bright cassis and small notes of violet associated with touches of fresh raspberry as well as fine hints of small fresh/fleshy red fruits, fine hints of caramelization, vanilla. A very discreet hint of toasted and a subtle hint of dark chocolate on the persistence. Tannins are very finely marked.
