The nose is fruity, fresh and offers structure. It reveals notes of crushed cassis, black cherry and small notes of blackberry associated with touches of crushed small red fruits as well as very fine hints of liquorice and gravels/minerality (terroir). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers tension, vivacity, a mineral frame, a good tension, a silky touch as well as a saline minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, blackberry and small notes of cherry associated with touches of red berries, violet as well as a discreet hint of rose and liquorice. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length. There is a very discreet hint of chocolate/toasted on the persistence.
