The nose is aromatic and benefits from decanted. It reveals notes of boysenberry, crushed strawberry and small notes of crushed redcurrant, associated with fine floral touches, almost rhubarb, and discreet hints of fresh tobacco and fresh cardamom. The palate is well-built, fresh, mineral, with energy, suavity, tension, precision and a certain sparkle. It expresses notes of fresh/crunchy cherry, bright redcurrant and small notes of juicy/ripe cassis, associated with touches of cornflower, star anise, fine hint of chocolate and a hint of fresh blond tobacco. Good length. A wine nicely fresh, full-bodied and supple.
