The nose is fruity, slightly tight and offers a small concentration as well as a beautiful finesse of the grain. It reveals notes of ripe wild cassis, ripe wild strawberry and small notes of tonka bean associated with fine hints of Sichuan pepper and a very discreet hint of tea. The palate is fruity, racy and offers juiciness, a beautiful freshness, minerality, a good definition of the fruit as well as structure, largeness and energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, acidulous/fresh raspberry and small notes of acidulous/fresh cassis associated with touches of cornflower, lily, small acidulous red berries as well as hints of tonka bean, a very discreet hint of bergamot and vanilla. A beautiful sapidity and suavity on the finish/persistence.
