La Querciolana Rosè di Boldrino 2023 – Umbria IGT Rosato

(Trasimeno Gamay, long skin contact) The wine has a deep yellow color, copper rose of medium intensity. The nose is very aromatic: grapefruit, orange, orange zest, pomegranate, strawberry, crushed raspberry, a bit of pastry (confectionery, marshmallow), white flowers and herbs (thyme, maquis sage, rosemary, myrtle). The mouth is a bit oily, but harmonious (yellow peach, wine peach, apricot, grapefruit) associated with pronounces flavours of aromatic herbs (thyme, maquis, rosemary). Nice length, which expresses also a hint of dried orange peel, dried wild flowers and herbs. A gourmand and gastronomic rosé, with a pleasant salty note, good structure and density, as well a lively acidity.
