It expresses the aromas of very ripe apricot, dried apricot, juicy yellow peach, dried pineapple, fresh pineapple, roasted apple, roasted pear, combined with a spicy touch of saffron, nutmeg, balancing herbaceous and lemony notes of fresh bay leaf, dried orange, candied lemon, rosemary in syrup, as well as a hint of sweetness from lemon curd and pastry cream. The palate is juicy, savoury and dense. It expresses notes of juicy stone fruits (crushed yellow peach and apricot, a hint of Mirabelle plum), roasted apricot, peach in syrup, balanced by flavors of mint in syrup, bay leaf and rosemary in syrup, as well as than with a spicy touch of saffron. A concentrated, powerful and rich wine, with an oily texture and medium acidity, but quite balanced. The finish is persistent, milky, with notes of dried pineapple, plum jam and crushed mirabelle plum.
