There is a savory spiciness in the notes of liquorice, clove and ground cumin, as well as herbaceous and floral notes of fresh tobacco, dried rose and dried mint. The palate is sweet, rich, with fine and velvety tannins. It expresses the flavors of prunes, chocolate, morello cherry in chocolate, dried blackcurrant, bird cherry, mint in syrup, crème de cassis and dark chocolate. The finish is long, sweet, but balanced by a nice acidity. We also find notes of prunes, infused black tea, infused dried apple and infused hibiscus on the persistence.
