The nose reveals notes of redcurrant jam, cassis and fine hints of blackberry combined with touches of caramelized wood, discreet hints of sweet spices / vanilla, a hint of chocolate and an imperceptible hint of violet (after aeration/work in the glass). The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced, elegant, finely gourmande and offers a nice definition and a fine fresh frame. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of crushed wild strawberry and ripe blackberries combined with slight hints of redcurrant, wild black berries as well as hints of toasted oak, chocolate, vanilla and a very discreet hint of caramelization on persistence. The finish is suave.
