La Petite Marquise 2017 – Saint-Julien

The nose is fruity, gourmand and offers a fine concentration. It reveals notes of cassis, ripe strawberry and more slightly blueberry associated with fine/discreet touches of flowers, toasted oak and hints of vanilla. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, suave, full and offers a good definition, a fine mineral frame, a fine freshness as well as suppleness. It reveals notes of juicy raspberry, juicy cassis and more slightly juicy black cherry, cherry associated with fine/discreet touches of sweet spices, toasted, almond, vanilla as well as an imperceptible hint of ripe bell pepper (in the background). The finish is suave. There are fine touches of salinity on the finish.
