The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is gourmand, fruity, slightly jammy. It expresses notes of crushed wild strawberry, cherry jam, raspberry coulis, juicy blackberry and crème de cassis, combined with notes of morellocherry in chocolate, prunes and roasted meat (in the background), with a fine spiciness (nutmeg, cumin), herbaceous (rosemary, mint) and slightly toasted notes. We also find a very subtle touch of violet after aeration. The palate is silky, filling and fresh at the same time. The attack is fruity, gourmand and offers notes of blackberry, black plum, morello cherry, crushed blackcurrant, wild strawberry and raspberry coulis. In the mid-palate, we find notes of sweet spices (nutmeg, cumin), roasted aromatic herbs (roasted bouquet garni), as well as morellocherry in chocolate, dried mint and toasted hazelnut in the background. The tannins are fine and firm, sapid, with a good bitterness on the finish. Good persistence and a refreshing acidity with notes
