The nose is elegant, aromatic and offers power, a beautiful racy grain, intensity and precision. It reveals notes of pulpy/juicy wild blackberry, wild cassis, small notes of sense of the place/terroir associated with touches of small juicy/fresh blue fruits as well as fine hints of fresh tobacco leaf, cuben pepper and spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy, élégante and offers a fine acidulous frame, a delicate touch, juiciness, gourmandize as well as tension, precision, deepness, intensity, power (but full of finesse and balance). On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, small pulpy/cassis black fruits, small notes of lily associated with touches of sense of the place/terroir, small juicy/pulpy wild red berries as well as fine hints of cuben pepper, tonka bean/cocoa, toasted, discreet hint of vanilla and caramelization. Good length. Tannins are elegant and well-built. Very discreet hints of ripe almond on the persistence.
