The nose is aromatic, gourmand, elegant, racy and offers minerality. It reveals notes of caramelization, vanilla, blackberry and cassis associated with small notes of nut, cornflowers, blue fruits as well as subtle/discreet hints of sweet spices and a hint of cardamom. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, very slightly tight, silky and offers a beautiful definition, fat, a small unctuosity, a beautiful finesse of the grain, a beautiful freshness, a beautiful precision, a fine unctuosity as well as an acid frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes if fleshy blackberry, juicy strawberry and more slightly fleshy cassis associated with fine touches of toasted oak, fleshy raspberry, vanilla, caramelized almond as well as very fine touches of chocolate. Tannins are fine, structuring, very slightly firm and slightly tight. Beautiful persistence.
