The nose is frank, precise, spicy and offers a certain small power full of precision. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, small wild red fruits and small notes of arbutus associated with touches of cornflower, tobacco, star anise as well as fine hints of Cubeb pepper. The palate is fruity, supple, fresh and offers a beautiful pulpy/brilliant fruit, elegance, gourmandize as well as an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright blueberry, bright cherry and small notes of cornflower associated with touches of crushed small red fruits, arbutus as well as hints of racy minerality, almost pine needle, thyme, fine hints of sweet pepper and spices. An imperceptible almost mandarin hint in the background. A nice and discreet work on the varietal (in the background) which leads the tasting. A hint of roasting on the finish/persistence
