La Masia du Clos del Rey 2021 – AOP Maury Grenat

The nose is fruity, elegant, deep, contained, gourmand. It expresses notes of crushed blueberry, blackberry jelly and small notes of jammy strawberry, associated with delicate hints of cinnamon, tobacco, a hint of smoke, morello cherry in sugar. The palate is nicely conducted, fruity, fresh, suave, supple and offers gourmandise, a tangy frame. It expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cherry, crushed blueberry and small notes of jammy blackcurrant associated with touches of crushed raspberry, as well as hints of fig, a subtle hint almost dried apricot, a discreet hint of marmalade, tobacco, smoke and spices. Good length, with a tangy frame and freshness. Nicely fresh and elegant.
