The wine has a bright ruby color. The nose is fragrant and very floral, with a precise mineral framework and a burst of fruit. It expresses a refined touch of limestone, accompanied by notes of iris, rosehip, violet and cherry blossom, a juicy and fresh fruity notes (griotte, ripe wild strawberry, wild blackberry, blackcurrant, berberis) and a fine spicy (licorice, nutmeg) and herbaceous (dried mint) touches. The palate is chiseled, straight and lively, with a firm tannin structure. It expresses notes of tartred cherry, morello cherry, blackcurrant, blueberry, wild strawberry and blackberry, associated with a floral bouquet (violet, cherry blossom, rosehip), a touch of licorice, nutmeg, cumin and dried mint in the background. The finish is a bit tight and tannic. Good length in the mouth, freshness, nice acidity and power. A racy, age-worthy wine.
