The first nose is intense and fruity with notes of lychee, ripe lemon and pineapple. There is also a certain minerality with a hint of butter. The second nose is lightly toasted, peppery with a touch of yellow peach. The palate is fresh, toasted, buttery with a note of roasted apple, pineapple and yellow peach in syrup. There is a slight roundness to the attack. The finish is slightly bitter bringing more complexity. There is also a lot of mineral freshness and a hint of salinity on the finish accompanying the butter and roasted pineapple. Lovely wine.
