LA GRAVETTE DE CERTAN 2022 – Pomerol

The nose is nicely fresh, floral and fruity, revealing aromas of pepper and, small notes, cornflower, associated with touches of zan as well as a discreet almost pink hint and subtle toasted nuances. The palate is nicely structured, supple, fresh, elegant, airy and nicely defined/defined. It offers a fresh weft with a pretty chiseled side. We find notes of juicy/pulp cherry, bright blackcurrant and, small notes, bright blackberry, associated with a nice tanginess of the fruit and a racy minerality. We also perceive hints of star anise, toast and mocha. Tannins are mellow, offering a nice texture. The finish reveals a nice cocoa bitterness and a nice persistence. Everything is expressed with delicacy, grace and subtlety, enhanced by nuances of violet and a marked floral freshness.
