The wine has a ruby colour with very slight purple reflections. The aromas are mainly fruity and moderately pronounced. The nose expresses notes of wild strawberry, red cherry, red currant, raspberry, and black plum with a delicate touch of black pepper and peony. There are also slight hints of chocolate and cinnamon. On the palate, the wine is fruity and a bit aerial – it expresses flavours of wild strawberries, red cherries, black plums, and a hint of black pepper and cocoa. The wine has a medium body, and the tannins are a bit tight, of have a medium level. The finish on the palate is moderately long, of a medium (+) level, tangy, with a slight bitterness. A fruity and accessible wine.
